Quite honestly, I'm surprised it wasn't attempted sooner--or perhaps it was, long ago, and no one here recalls it. If the 'deities' mean to strike us, they'll do it sooner rather than later. Everyone who was involved had trouble enough when they struck the walls, falling out of the sky and everything else.
