Jan. 22nd, 2011 04:41 pmGiven the recent rash of forgetfulness--or perhaps it's even outright amnesia--in the City, has anyone found anything even remotely close to an explanation for it?
It's been going on too long to be a curse, and other curses have gone on around it. So, if it's a curse, it's unusual. I think it's not a curse at all, but something else--a game, perhaps, that the 'deities' are playing. I know they'll take memories in trade for anything one's heart might desire--a steep price, to be sure. But that's only a potential explanation, the one thing I don't really want.
I want to know if there's a real answer for it. I want a solution for it. Has anyone found a solution for it? That would be the more useful thing. I would like to speak with anyone who has found a solution--a means of restoring those lost memories, I mean. I don't care about ideas or potential solutions. I want to know how to revive those lost memories or return them to a person--something of use.
Although, truth be told, one is hard pressed to find anything of use in this City, and harder pressed to find answers. Whether one can find a solution remains to be seen.
Send me word if you've found a way--a way that works--to restore lost memories to someone suffering from this epidemic of amnesia. I'll take answers to what's going on only after I know there's a means to bring back someone's sense.
